Hi there! My name is Brianna Silva and I am pursuing my MA in journalism at Emerson College. I previously worked for 7 News WHDH Boston as a cyber journalist and occasionally work as a freelance journalist and film critic, writing for various online publications including Screen Queens and The Indiependent. I am interested in entertainment journalism, film criticism, long-form narrative journalism, documentary filmmaking and multimedia storytelling. As a young Latinx journalist, I hope to use my writing and visual story skills to uplift marginalized stories.

When I'm not busy working, you can find me watching movies and logging them on Letterboxd, gardening or playing with my dog. Some of my current favorite films include the Saw series, Xanadu, Rocketman and Whisper of the Heart.
